One day I was on a work at home jobs website and came across
a write up on a company named textbroker. The article said this company paid
people to write articles and you did not have to have any experience to write
for them. I went to their website and wrote and submitted a sample article. A few days went by and I received an e-mail
that said I was approved to write articles for them. To top it all off they
ranked me as a level III writer out of a possible five. So I started writing
articles for them, it was like Christmas every morning waking up to check my
e-mail to see if I had an approved article. Since then I have applied to and been
accepted to write for a few more websites. I have found that I thoroughly enjoy
writing and it occupies my time and I get to make a few bucks too.
Recently I was on a work at home jobs website and came
across a review on skyword, I liked what I read so I went to their website and
applied to write for Gather News. Turns out to be able to write for Gather News
you have to be a member of Gather, so I signed up as a member. This is by far
one of the best things I have done in a long time. I have been a member of
gather for a couple of weeks now so if I had to give a review it would be one
based on a first impression.
So instead of a review I will share my experience
in the short time that I have been a member there. I have met and been able to
interact with some genuine people. People have been helpful and tolerable of
the newbie. I have written short stories, life experiences and news articles
that have been commented on by individuals with less than the same as or far
more writing ability than me. I have been able to read stories that have been
written from the heart all the way to crafty fiction. I have joined groups and
met some nice people.
We are all on a journey called life and on this journey there
are many different paths. I would have to say that I'm pleasantly enjoying the
path that I am on at this point in my journey..
